Founded on Bompai Road in the heart of Kano, we exist to bring affordable, dignified banking to traders, families, civil servants and small businesses across Northern Nigeria.
Our story
Bompai Microfinance Bank Limited was established to close the financial-access gap in Northern Nigeria. We saw hard-working entrepreneurs locked out of formal banking by paperwork, distance and inflexible products — and we set out to fix it.
Today, Bompai serves tens of thousands of customers through our growing branch network, our agency banking partners, and our mobile-first digital channels. We're proudly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and our deposits are insured by the NDIC.
